Jeff just unveiled HIP-3. Users will be able to permissionlessly deploy a perps orderbook for any asset they want.

There are caveats:

- Deployers must maintain 1M+ HYPE staked and is subject to slashing if deemed malicious.

- Deployment is like spot tickers. DA every 31 hours except the payment is done in HYPE.

- Deployers can receive fees on trades, up to 50% of fees.

- The official https://t.co/zxLq8LXbcp frontend will not display these orderbooks initially. So only those seeking these perps will be able to trade them (for safety purposes).

This is now live on testnet today.
