#AirdropSafetyGuide

1. Understand What an Airdrop Is

Airdrops are free token distributions, usually from crypto projects, to promote awareness or reward users. Legitimate airdrops never ask for money.

2. Never Share Private Keys or Seed Phrases

No real project will ever ask for your private key, seed phrase, or wallet password. Sharing them = instant loss of funds.

3. Use a Separate Wallet

Create a new wallet just for airdrops to isolate potential risks from your main holdings.

4. Watch for Fake Social Media and Phishing

Always verify project links from official sources. Scammers often create lookalike sites and fake Twitter/Telegram accounts.

5. Be Wary of “Connect Wallet” Requests

Only connect your wallet to well-known platforms. Rogue websites may drain your wallet when you approve malicious transactions.
