#AirdropSafetyGuide
Today, an airdrop is not just "free tokens". It is a battlefield between the community and scammers. If you actively participate in projects and wait for drops — here are some rules I personally follow:
1. Only official sources. If I see a link in DMs or comments — I block immediately. Drops happen, but they never come "secretly".
2. Seed phrase = your bank. If you give it away, consider that you have given away your entire portfolio. No "buts".
3. A separate wallet for experiments. I have a special one — I test new projects there, connect to websites, farm drops. The main one is kept isolated.
4. Ghost tokens? I don’t touch them. Sometimes strange tokens appear in the wallet. Under no circumstances try to sell or transfer them. It could be a hack.
5. Signature? I read what I sign. Especially if there’s something about “approve” in the text — I double-check.
Airdrop is really cool if you play by the rules of safety. And remember: sometimes the best investment is to hit “log out of the site”.
