Americans will be able to earn WLD tokens by verifying their identity and creating a World ID. There are also plans to launch a Visa card for cryptocurrency payments, collaboration with Tinder in Japan for profile authenticity verification, and integration with the prediction platform Kalshi. Furthermore, World aims to establish partnerships with gamers through the Razer brand to distinguish real people from AI.
The company claims that it does not store biometric data obtained through eye scanners (orbs) and hopes to scale the project to a billion users thanks to a new mini version of the scanner.
