Visa Launches Stablecoin Card
Visa is piloting stablecoin-backed bank cards in Latin America! Thanks to a new partnership, users in Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, and Chile will be able to spend directly from their stablecoin balances. These cards will be accepted at over 150 million Visa-supported merchants worldwide.
Developers can offer these cards across multiple countries through a single API integration. Payments will be converted from stablecoins to fiat seamlessly and instantly.
Visa’s ambition is big: the company plans to expand soon into Europe, Asia, and Africa.
