#AirdropSafetyGuide How Do You Stay SAFU?
Not every airdrop is a blessing — some are traps in disguise. I always follow my personal #AirdropSafetyGuide to stay protected:
Red Flags I Watch For:
Websites that look off or have no HTTPS
Contracts asking for unlimited approvals
Projects with anonymous or unverifiable teams
Airdrops that require you to "claim" by connecting your wallet first
How I Verify Projects:
Check the contract on Etherscan for verified code and transaction history
Look at the project’s activity on Twitter, Discord, and Telegram
Confirm if the token exists on CoinGecko or CoinMarketCap
Ask the community if anyone has received the airdrop without issues
Scam Tactic I’ve Encountered:
Got a fake “Airdrop Alert” notification from a clone project once — looked real but the token had zero liquidity and the site was a phishing trap. I avoided it by cross-checking the token address and saw no legit holders.
Stay sharp, stay SAFU.
