🔥"Trump is preparing to give a speech: Kicking off May with a storm? "
⏰ Early morning of May 1st.
Once again, the financial market is holding its breath…
Donald Trump - the president leading his second term - will give an important speech at the White House.
This is referred to as the "Q2 guidance speech."
But investors call it:
“The opening candle of May.”
📉 Why is everyone tense?
The U.S. economy has just recorded its first negative growth quarter in 3 years.
S&P 500 fell 0.8% in April.
Dow Jones lost 7.9% in just the first 100 days of Trump’s term.
A long slide – and this morning's speech could be the launchpad… or another slide.
📌 Personally?
I don't think Trump will admit to being wrong.
But the market doesn’t need to hear an apology - It just needs to hear which way the wind is blowing.
🧠 This speech could:
Cause panic if mentioning new tax policies.
Create FOMO if hinting that the Fed will lower rates.
Feel empty if... it's just another usual bluff.
💬 What do you think the market will react?
Short early - or wait until Trump finishes speaking before daring to open a position?
