Elon Musk is saying goodbye (for the most part) to DOGE – no, not the meme coin, but the Department of Government Efficiency he’s been leading under the Trump administration. 👋🏛️
Starting in May, he’ll only be spending 1–2 days a week on DOGE duties, choosing instead to focus more on Tesla as its profits dip and investors grow restless. 📉🚗
He’s not completely disappearing though — Musk will still advise remotely and drop in for occasional Cabinet meetings. 📞🧠
His time at DOGE has been intense: major cuts, sweeping reforms, and plenty of controversy. ✂️🔥 But now, it’s time for a shift back to Silicon Valley.
So yeah, it’s kind of a “bye for now” from Musk to DOGE. 👋🤖
