On April 29, 2025, the regulator delayed the review of ETF applications for XRP and DOGE from Bitwise and Franklin Templeton, submitted by NYSE Arca and Cboe BZX. The decision on Polkadot, Hedera, and other funds, including Solana from Franklin, has also been postponed. The new date for XRP is October, for Polkadot and Hedera it is June. A total of 72 crypto ETFs are awaiting approval, but analysts doubt investor interest in altcoins compared to Bitcoin and Ether. The market is on edge.
