XRP ETF Funds Face Launch Delay: Details

Today, the launch of the 'ProShares' exchange-traded funds for XRP futures contracts has been postponed, as confirmed by 'James Seyfert', an ETF analyst at Bloomberg, denying previous reports that suggested it would launch on April 30.

Despite the anticipation, 'ProShares' has not yet set an official date for the launch of its three products:

Short XRP ETF, Ultra XRP ETF, and UltraShort XRP ETF.

XRP is currently trading at $2.27, up 1.5% for the day and 9% for the week, and the currency recently reached its monthly peak at $2.36, while still underperforming some major cryptocurrencies.

Optimism continues in the market regarding the potential approval of an XRP-based exchange-traded fund, especially with the appointment of 'Paul Atkins' at the head of the Securities and Exchange Commission, alongside the announcement by the 'CME' exchange of offering futures contracts for XRP, which bolsters investors' hopes for the approval of a spot trading fund as soon as the ongoing legal issues with Ripple are resolved.
