New Phishing Scheme: Fake Emails from Ledger
Crypto trader Jacob Canfield has warned of a scam involving physical letters allegedly from Ledger. The scammers are sending envelopes to real addresses leaked from the Ledger database, with a “notice” of updating the device due to security issues.
Ledger has confirmed that this is the work of scammers. The company reminded that the scammers regularly pose as brand representatives and use any channels to deceive, from letters to calls and fake social media accounts.
