Amazon reacts to White House statements about its plan to mark price increases caused by tariffs

Amazon reacted to the statements of White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, who described as a "hostile and political act" an alleged plan by the company to include the markup caused by the tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump in the price of certain products.

Amazon explained that it never intended to highlight the price increase caused by Trump's tariffs on its main website.
