In his first 100 days, Trump took strong action on trade by putting 25% taxes (tariffs) on goods from several countries. This made global markets nervous. He also focused on crypto: he signed an order to create a U.S. Bitcoin Reserve, chose a "crypto leader" to guide policy, and held a big crypto meeting at the White House—calling the U.S. the world’s crypto hub.

The SEC (U.S. regulator) has delayed decisions on five crypto ETFs. These include Franklin Templeton’s Solana and XRP ETFs, Grayscale’s Hedera ETF, Bitwise’s Dogecoin ETF, and a part of Fidelity’s Ethereum ETF. The reason given: they need more time and public input.
