🤔 Altseason Again?

I came across this take from a

popular crypto enthusiast. His

belief in cyclical patterns fuels

his argument — but I disagree.

I don’t think we’ll see the same kind of altcoin boom as before. Why?

Back in the 2021 season, there were around 7,000 altcoins (CoinMarketCap). Now, in 2025, that number has doubled to 14,000. Liquidity is spread much thinner, making it harder for capital inflows to drive the same explosive growth.

You might say: "But more people and money have entered the market!" Not exactly.

Yes, liquidity has increased — but it's primary target has been Bitcoin. Institutions are accumulating through BTC ETFs, which limits how much capital spills over into alts like before.

Take a look at the top-performing alts right now. You’ll see projects with strong reputations and most importantly — deep-pocketed backers. The ones building ecosystems today are already late.

The game has changed, and the leaders are firmly in place.😎
