I thought Solana was just 'cheaper than Ethereum'. But it turned out to be much deeper.
When I first started to understand crypto, SOL seemed to me just a fast and cheap alternative. But now I’m beginning to see why there’s so much hype around it:
Transaction speed - out of this world. You click - and that's it, confirmed. No long waiting.
Scalability. Unlike other networks, Solana handles the load even when NFTs or meme coins are flying high.
The ecosystem is growing like yeast. Games, DeFi, social networks, wallets - everything is built on Solana. And it's not just 'projects for the token', but really convenient products.
Yes, the network has 'crashed' at times. But Apple didn't make perfect iPhones right away either.
And what surprised me the most - people actually use this network, not just holding the coin.
As a newcomer, I have some questions:
Why did many new projects choose Solana?
Can it really overtake Ethereum in the future?
What will happen to SOL if an even faster network appears?
And most importantly - is it too late to get in?
