SEC Not Taking Enforcement Action?
On April 30, PayPal disclosed in a filed document that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has terminated its investigation into its USD stablecoin PYUSD and will not take enforcement action. PayPal stated that the SEC's enforcement division had issued a subpoena in November 2023, requesting documents related to PYUSD, and notified the conclusion of the investigation in February 2025.
