To send a file using AirDrop, first ensure both devices are nearby and have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned on. Then, open the item you want to share, tap the share button, and select AirDrop. Choose the recipient you want to share with. On receiving devices, an alert will prompt the user to accept the item.

Detailed Steps:

1. Preparation:

Make sure you and the recipient are within a reasonable distance of each other.

Confirm that both devices have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled.

On the receiving device, ensure AirDrop is turned on and set to receive from either "Everyone" or "Contacts Only".

2. Sharing:

Open the item: Locate the file, photo, or other content you want to share.

Tap the Share button: Depending on the app, the share button may be labeled differently (e.g., a square with an arrow, a share icon).

Select AirDrop: From the share menu, choose the AirDrop option.

Choose the recipient: A list of nearby devices will appear. Tap the name of the person you want to send the item to.

3. Accepting the AirDrop:

Alert on receiving device: The recipient will receive an alert with a preview of the item being sent.

Accept or Decline: The recipient can tap "Accept" to receive the item or "Decline" to reject it.
