$BTC Arizona became the first state in the nation to pass a law creating a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve Fund after both chambers of the legislature approved the measure in largely partisan votes on April 28. The law, sponsored by Republican Senator Wendy Rogers, allows the state treasury to invest a portion of public funds in Bitcoin (BTC). According to details shared by Satoshi Action Fund Executive Director Dennis Porter, no members were excused or absent in either vote. The bill passed in the House with a vote of 29-25 and in the Senate with a vote of 31-25, with four lawmakers not voting in the Senate.
