Standard Chartered Bank forecasts that Bitcoin will set a new all-time high in the second quarter of this year, thanks to a strategic shift of capital away from U.S. assets and many indicators supporting an upward trend.
Standard Chartered believes Bitcoin will surge significantly in the near future.
According to Mr. Geoff Kendrick, Global Head of Digital Asset Research at Standard Chartered, the restructuring of investment portfolios away from U.S. assets will be a crucial boost for Bitcoin (BTC) to reach new heights in the coming months.
Specifically, Kendrick expects the price of Bitcoin to rise from the current level of nearly $95,000 to around $120,000 right in the second quarter of 2025 and continue its upward momentum in the summer towards a target of $200,000 by the end of the year.
A series of factors are converging to support this scenario, including the flow of money moving away from traditional assets like gold, strong accumulation from Bitcoin "whales," along with positive signals from the global financial market.
