Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

How to use BAuthenticator for two-factor authentication on the Binance app?

2021-10-15 10:42

What is two-factor authentication (2FA)?

Two-factor authentication is a multi-layered security mechanism designed to verify the identity of the user before allowing access to the account, adding an extra layer of protection against unauthorized access.

The importance of two-factor authentication lies specifically in its ability to protect your digital assets and your Binance account. Even if a hacker manages to obtain your password, they will still need the second factor (for example, Google Authenticator) to access your account, making security breaches more difficult.
