✜ The idea to create a trading bot for #crypto came to me, and I immediately turned to ChatGPT.
✜ It was important to craft the right prompt to fully utilize AI!
✜ I used the following prompt:
✜ "You are a WEB3 developer with 8 years of experience. Can you create a script?"
✜ Next step was finding right foundation for our script, with two options:
- Create the bot foundation from scratch
- Choose an existing one
✜ After studying bot market, I was able to find an already ready foundation!
✜ My choice then fell on the trading indicator on the platform tradingview.
✜ The indicator's name is Bollinger Bands by Madrid !
✜ But before using it, the source code needs to be prepared for integration with AI...
✜ Preparing the Bollinger Bands code for use:
- Click "Source Code"
- Create a working copy
- Click Convert Code to v4
- Repeat again
- Save and copy the script
✜ Then return to ChatGPT and continue writing the file!
✜ Open ChatGPT, go to the prepared tab, and paste the copied script.
✜ I used the following prompt that perfectly created a working bot:
✜ "Write a trading strategy script based on the source code of the indicator - Bollinger Bands."
✜ Add additional features to regulate the bot's risks:
- Adjustable risk per position
- Number of trades
- Trading limit after 3 consecutive stop losses
✜ Ask ChatGPT to add these features as a script to the trading strategy.
✜ Final step - ask ChatGPT to create a file from the script of our trading strategy:
✜ After that, we use this file to set up a web server and launch the bot!
