My Experience with Crypto: Fast, Reliable, and Low-Cost Transfers

Living in a remote area, access to traditional financial services can be challenging. The nearest city with my bank is 25 km away, and the smaller towns around me offer mobile money services with limited availability. Even though my relatives abroad often send money, high fees and delays have been an issue.

Two weeks ago, my cousin in the USA sent me USDC on Binance Smartchain instead of using bank transfer or mobile money, and the difference was night and day. The transaction took less than 2 minutes—extremely fast, no delays, and the fees were much lower than usual. After receiving the USDC, I sold some of it for fiat and had the money transferred directly to my mobile money wallet, which took less than five minutes.
