A Chinese girl was charging her phone at a public outlet in a dance school in Japan, which a Japanese blogger deemed as 'stealing electricity' and posted a photo of it online. This incident has caused quite a stir in Japan.
I mean, does Japan, this tiny country, really have to blow things out of proportion over such a trivial matter? Is it just because the girl charging her phone is Chinese? And how can it be proven that the one charging is indeed Chinese?
Surprisingly, less than two days after this post was published, it received 5.75 million views and 57,000 likes on social media, indicating that many Japanese people support the blogger's viewpoint!
Does life in developed countries really feel this tight? Do any friends in Japan want to share if the electricity costs are really that high? Didn't Japan build many nuclear power plants? Can electricity costs really be so painful?
In China, it seems that not providing free phone charging in public places would lead to online exposure, right?
