Michael Saylor hints at new Bitcoin purchase
Michael Saylor, CEO of Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), has once again stirred the crypto market. Through a tweet where he wrote "Stay humble. Accumulate sats", he hinted at a possible new massive purchase of Bitcoin.
This comes just a week after Strategy acquired 6,556 BTC for 555.8 million dollars. Currently, the company owns more than 538,200 BTC.
The market reacted quickly: Bitcoin rose 2.3% in an hour and the volume on Binance increased by 15%. Analysts like RunnerXBT speculate that the next purchase could be three times larger, between 1.4 billion and 1.6 billion dollars.
Although there is no official confirmation yet, historically, Saylor's hints tend to anticipate real purchases and significant increases in the price of BTC.
