Bitwise Asset Management has officially filed for the first U.S. spot XRP exchange-traded fund (ETF), marking a significant development in cryptocurrency investment products. On October 2, 2024, Bitwise submitted an S-1 registration statement to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), following the establishment of an XRP ETF trust in Delaware a day earlier.
