Nike Inc. is facing a class action lawsuit in New York following the closure of its subsidiary RTFKT in December 2024, which allegedly led to a collapse in demand for non-fungible tokens. The plaintiffs are seeking damages of over 5 million dollars, claiming they were misled into purchasing unregistered securities. Nike had acquired RTFKT in 2021 and announced its closure last year.
