Binance Alpha Points is a dynamic system designed to evaluate user activity within the Binance Alpha and Binance Wallet ecosystems. These points determine eligibility for campaigns like Token Generation Events (TGEs) and Alpha token airdrops. This article answers some of the most frequently asked questions surrounding Binance Alpha Points to help you better navigate the platform and maximize your rewards.

1. What are the Binance Alpha Points?

Binance Alpha Points serve as a scoring system that reflects your activity within the Binance Alpha and Binance Wallet ecosystem. These points can make you eligible for various campaigns such as TGE participation and Alpha token airdrops. They track both your balance and trading volumes in the Binance ecosystem.

2. What are the Binance Alpha tokens?

Binance Alpha tokens are digital assets featured in the Binance Alpha section of Binance Exchange and Binance Wallet. Launched on December 17, 2024, Binance Alpha was created to spotlight emerging projects with significant potential in the Web3 space. Some of these tokens may later be considered for listings on Binance Exchange and Spot markets, although future listings are not guaranteed.

3. Where can users see their Binance Alpha Points?

Users can easily check their Alpha Points through the Binance App:

  • Option 1: Open the latest version of the Binance app, search for "Alpha point" on your homepage to view your points.

  • Option 2: Tap on the user profile icon in the top left corner of the homepage. Navigate to the "Alpha Points" section under the ‘Information’ tab.

4. How are Binance Alpha Points calculated?

Binance Alpha Points are calculated daily, taking into account two main factors:

  • Balance Points: Based on your asset holdings across Binance Exchange (Spot listed tokens) and Binance Wallet (only Alpha tokens and spot market tokens).

  • Volume Points: Based on your Alpha token purchase volume via Binance Exchange and Binance Keyless Wallet.

Your total Alpha Points are the sum of both Balance and Volume Points accumulated over the past 15 days.

5. How are the Balance Points calculated?

Balance Points are awarded based on your total assets across Binance Exchange and Binance Wallet. The tiers are as follows:

  • $100 to <$1,000: 1 point/day

  • $1,000 to <$10,000: 2 points/day

  • $10,000 to <$100,000: 3 points/day

  • $100,000 and above: 4 points/day

    Snapshot Timezone: UTC.

6. How are the Volume Points calculated?

Volume Points are awarded based on the amount of Alpha tokens purchased through Binance Exchange and Binance Keyless Wallet:

  • $2 → 1 point

  • $4 → 2 points

  • $8 → 3 points

  • $16 → 4 points

  • $32 → 5 points

You earn 1 additional point for each doubling of your purchase volume. For instance, $64 = 6 points, $128 = 7 points, etc.

7. Can I divide my $100,000 into multiple sub-accounts to earn more points?

No. Only your master account is eligible for Alpha Points. Balances in sub-accounts are merged into the master account’s score, so splitting balances across multiple accounts to gain additional points is not allowed.

8. What exchange rate is used to calculate my balance and/or trade value?

Alpha token values are measured using the USD-equivalent market price at the time of the trade, ensuring consistent and fair point tracking.

9. If I buy $600 worth of tokens and sell $500 later, do I still get Volume Points for the $600?

Yes. Your Volume Points are based on the total purchase volume, not your current holdings. You will be credited for the full $600 worth of Alpha tokens you bought, even if you later sell a portion of them.
