What does it mean to deposit by credit card?

The so-called "deposit" refers to something similar to "recharge", which means depositing money into Binance. Depositing funds by credit card means swiping the card, deducting Taiwan dollars, and then directly buying cryptocurrencies without leaving the Binance exchange.

Binance credit cards can only be used to buy coins, but cannot be used to top up Taiwan dollars directly

Because Binance does not currently support fiat currency trading pairs, you cannot directly swipe Taiwan dollars and then deposit them into Binance.

If you want to buy coins with a credit card on Binance, you must decide which coins you want to buy when you swipe the card.

Which credit cards support deposits via Binance?

According to actual tests, many credit cards often fail to be used, and some are not supported at all. The following are the credit cards that can be used for deposits based on feedback from netizens.

  • Cathay Pacific CUBE

  • Cathay Pacific Infinite Card

  • DBS Credit Card

  • Far Eastern Bank Credit Card

Other credit cards such as China Trust and E.Sun Bank have been tested to be completely unsuccessful in swiping.

As for Cathay Pacific and DBS, sometimes you can get through, sometimes not.

Because Binance currently only supports credit card purchases (and often fails), it is recommended that you deposit funds through a Taiwanese exchange first, purchase cryptocurrencies, and then transfer to Binance.

Alternatively, you can purchase USDT through an exchange in Taiwan and then transfer it to Binance for trading. This is a more feasible method at present.

How to use a credit card to buy coins on Binance?

You can choose to pay by credit card in "Buy Cryptocurrency" on the Binance homepage.

If you can't find it, you can find it in "More" > "Buy Cryptocurrency".

Enter the amount in Taiwan dollars and select the currency you want to buy (the example below is USDT):

Currently, Binance supports three card payment methods: Paymonade, direct card payment, and Apple Pay.

When one card does not work, you can try other methods. The exchange rates may be slightly different but not that big.

The above is the current status of using Binance credit cards to buy coins, for your reference.
