Donald Trump stated that Brazil is one of the countries that "survive" and that "became rich" by imposing tariffs on US imports.
In an interview, the American president said he would consider it a "total victory" if in a year the country is still charging high tariffs on foreign products.
The president indicated, however, that the US should finalize trade agreements with the countries that were tariffed in the coming weeks.
