🏄 Ethereum may experience a large-scale outflow of users in the next ten to fifteen years. This statement was made by Charles Hoskinson, the creator of Cardano, during an AMA session. In his opinion, the existing network architecture is not capable of handling the growing loads and has a number of fundamental weaknesses.

😱 The developer drew attention to the problems in the ecosystem management system, which create serious long-term risks. He noted that market participants are gradually switching to other platforms, especially against the backdrop of the popularity of second-layer (L2) solutions.

🧔‍♀️Hoskinson criticized the very concept of L2, calling them "parasitic" on the main blockchain. He believes it is necessary to radically revise this approach to avoid further problems.

🧔‍♀️ The expert also pointed out the shortcomings of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), the Proof-of-Stake algorithm, and the transaction accounting model. According to him, many of these difficulties could have been prevented if the Ethereum Foundation had been more open to external recommendations.

... Unfortunately Ethereum has only one way down🏄
