#EthereumFuture Ethereum may not survive in the next 10–15 years — Hoskinson
Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson stated that Ethereum has a "wrong" virtual machine, accounting model, and consensus. In his opinion, the ecosystem will not withstand competition:
"L2 solutions like Arbitrum and Optimism act like parasites — instead of uniting, they siphon value from the main chain."
Hoskinson compared Ethereum to Myspace and Blackberry — projects that failed to adapt to new realities. He also expressed doubts about the effectiveness of network governance and added that Buterin is finding it increasingly difficult to maintain the community.
