Ethereum's New Anti-Censorship Proposal: rILs Proposal Released, Enhancing Transaction Inclusivity Without Hard Forks
According to Wu's report, developer @kubimensah proposed a new scheme called 'Relay Inclusion Lists (rILs)' on the Ethereum research forum, aimed at enhancing Ethereum's anti-censorship capabilities without requiring a protocol upgrade!
Core Mechanism:
- Relay nodes generate a transaction inclusion list (rILs) from the memory pool, mandating the inclusion of specified transactions in blocks.
- Validators can choose whether to comply, maintaining network flexibility.
- As a transitional solution to EIP-7805 (FOCIL), it can be smoothly upgraded in the future.
Why is it important?
✅ Anti-Censorship: Reduces the risk of block builders filtering transactions.
✅ No Hard Fork: Node updates can support it, lowering upgrade resistance.
✅ Future Compatibility: Aligns with the Forced Inclusion List (FOCIL) standard.

- Ethereum's 'Anti-Censorship' toolbox adds another tool; the MEV track may be affected.
- A new battleground for the game between relays and validators? 👀
