Tron founder Justin Sun predicts that the price of Ethereum (ETH) will reach US$5,000 in a few months, coinciding with the 10th anniversary of the network in July 2025. This prediction is noteworthy as the current price of Ethereum is below US$2,000.
On the other hand, the Ethereum Foundation will hold a global event to celebrate the anniversary, with funding support of up to US$500 per event for local communities to strengthen the ecosystem.
Sun proposed that the Ethereum Foundation hold off on selling Ethereum for three years and use lending platforms like AAVE to finance operations without increasing the supply of Ethereum.
Sun also emphasized the importance of focusing on core Layer 1 development, improving network capacity and security so that the Ethereum ecosystem becomes stronger and more valuable.
