Today, April 25, marks the 36th birthday of Gedhun Choekyi Nyima, the 11th #PanchenLama of #Tibet. Recognized by the #DalaiLama in 1995 at just six years old, he and his family were taken by Chinese authorities shortly after—and have not been seen since.
