What are Alpha Points?
Alpha Points is the scoring system of Binance designed to evaluate user activity levels within the Binance Alpha ecosystem and Binance Wallet. This system is used to determine eligibility for participation in special campaigns such as:
Token Generation Events (TGE)
Receiving Alpha token airdrops
How Alpha Points are calculated:
Calculated daily, based on 2 main factors:
Your asset balance on the Binance exchange and Binance Wallet (keyless address)
The volume of Alpha token purchases on both Binance and Binance Wallet
Note: Selling Alpha tokens is not counted towards Alpha Points at this stage.
What are Alpha Points essentially?
This is the total accumulated points each day, over the last 15 days, including:
Balance Points: points from asset balances
Volume Points: points from Alpha purchases
Quick analysis:
Binance uses this system to reward active users, especially those who hold assets or purchase Alpha tokens.
Regularly accumulating points will help you qualify earlier for exciting programs (TGE, airdrops…).
Good strategy: maintaining a high balance and regularly purchasing Alpha tokens – not selling – will help you optimize Alpha Points.
