The newspaper stated that a dinner was held last week for a number of individuals at Trump's residence, where each guest was asked to pay one million dollars to participate in the event.

As stated in the official invitation text, attendees' participation was confirmed in advance, and the number of places was "extremely limited."

The "New York Times" had previously reported that Trump's inaugural committee sold all VIP tickets for his inauguration in January, raising 170 million dollars from that.
