The weighted average tariff on U.S. exports to Pakistan is approximately 7%, whereas U.S. imports from Pakistan face a tariff of about 10%, according to Muhammad Aurangzeb, Pakistan's Federal Minister for Finance & Revenue.

➡️ Pakistan now aims to work with the U.S. to help "close" this trade imbalance, Aurangzeb stated. He emphasized that while Pakistan has a "longstanding relationship" with China, it does not wish to be forced to choose between the U.S. and China.
