The new CEO of TON Foundation is MoonPay co-founder Maximilian Crown.
Crown previously served as COO and CFO at MoonPay, having extensive connections with banks, payment companies, and regulators. He will remain on the board of directors of MoonPay.
The appointment comes amid the growth of the TON audience: over the year, the number of blockchain users increased from 4 million to 41 million.
The goal is to connect 30% of the active Telegram audience to TON by 2028.
