Binance's decision to delist 4 new tokens!
Binance (the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world) has confirmed that it will remove all spot trading pairs associated with four major digital tokens, including: Alpaca Finance (ALPACA), PlayDapp (PDA), Viberate (VIB), and Wing Finance (WING). The platform clarified that this decision will take effect on May 2, 2025, at 3:00 AM GMT.
The platform stated in an official statement that the decision comes as part of its periodic reviews to assess the performance of listed digital tokens and to ensure their continued compliance with the quality, liquidity, and regulatory compliance standards that Binance adopts. It noted that all open orders on the affected pairs will be automatically canceled upon the decision's implementation.
In addition, Binance will gradually cease support for these tokens across a range of its other products and services, including margin trading, futures contracts, loan services, simple earning, payment services, conversion options, and dual investment products. Users were also advised to cancel or modify any active trading bots to avoid losses.
According to the statement, withdrawals of these tokens will be available until July 4, 2025, after which any remaining balances may be converted to stablecoins, although the platform warned that this conversion is not guaranteed.
