Donald Trump's meme coin $TRUMP increased in price by 50% on Wednesday following the announcement on the cryptocurrency project's website about an upcoming dinner with the former US president. According to the statement, the 220 largest holders of the token will receive an invitation to the dinner, which will take place on May 22 in Washington, D.C.

"Dine with President Trump," reads the message on the homepage of the website. It is specified that there is an official dress code for guests, and the day after the event, a VIP tour of the White House will take place. Additionally, 25 largest holders of $TRUMP wallets are expected to attend the dinner.

Against the backdrop of the news, the market capitalization of the meme coin reached $2.7 billion. According to CoinMarketCap, $TRUMP showed the highest growth among all cryptocurrencies in a day, even surpassing Sui, which increased by 23%.
