The setting was classic Trump: gold accents, bold statements, and a menu that was as unapologetically American as it gets—think steak (well-done, of course), Diet Coke on tap, and a side of world-class confidence.

Conversation topics ranged from business and politics to golf scores and fast food favorites. Say what you will, but the man knows his brand and sticks to it.
