In the crypto exchange Mosca, located in Moscow City, searches are underway today in a major fraud case — the damage is estimated at 500,000,000 rubles.

The investigation is related to the deception of Olga Serova, the former head of the Samara Region Development Corporation.

At the end of last year, the 71-year-old pensioner was convinced to transfer 350 million rubles and $800,000 to the fraudsters.

She went to the bank to withdraw the money, and despite the managers' pleas not to do so, she insisted on her own and handed the funds over to the scammers.
