Take the following precautions against scams on Binance P2P:
1. Deal only with verified merchants.
Choose sellers or buyers who have a "verified badge," and with a trading rate of over 90%.
2. Check reviews and completed orders.
The person you are dealing with should have pool reviews and at least 100+ completed orders.
3. Never send money outside of Binance.
If someone says, "Send money to this account, I am sending from South Sand," — it is 100% a scam. Only make payments to accounts that are monitored by Binance.
4. Always verify payment through the Binance interface.
When you receive payment, click on "Payment Transferred" only within Binance, and do not use any third party.
5. Never rush.
Scammers will try to pressure you for immediate payment. Do not proceed without checking all information thoroughly.
6. Save chat evidence.
Take screenshots of conversations happening on Binance P2P chat. This will help you in disputes.
7. Use the dispute option.
If there is any issue, immediately press the dispute button and involve the Binance team.
