$ETH THE US-CHINA TRADE WAR IS LIKELY TO SEE NEW MOVES RATHER THAN MEANINGLESS NUMBERS
China will not engage in the "game of meaningless numbers" with the US after some of its exported goods face cumulative tariffs of up to 245%.
The Chinese Ministry of Commerce believes this move has "shamelessly exposed the US's use of tariffs as a tool, a weapon irrationally". The country will not fear a prolonged trade conflict; the US needs to proceed on the basis of mutual respect and equality.
Washington has stated that Trump is willing to carry out a trade agreement, but China must be the first to take action, emphasizing that "China needs US capital".
