Not down or up but just plain flat and sideways.
Usually these tight contractions however specify a larger and more explosive move coming in either direction as more orders are building up.
Often a lack of volatility also highlights a reverse in trend because bears or bulls are getting exhausted.
On the daily bitcoin is in a downtrend so sellers are getting more exhausted in this case.
