Chinese entrepreneur Liang Wenfeng, the founder of AI startup DeepSeek, earned a spot on Time magazine's "100 Most Influential People of 2025" for challenging the global dominance of U.S. tech.
"Silicon Valley was slow to grasp the magnitude of Liang Wenfeng's accomplishments, but once they did, markets reacted sharply, America’s tech supremacy faced serious scrutiny, and Liang rose to international prominence," Time Magazine praised.
