Powell: cryptocurrencies are gaining ground and stablecoins need urgent regulation.
The Fed chairman, Jerome Powell, stated that crypto is becoming more conventional thanks to regulatory changes. He highlighted that Congress is working on a legal framework for stablecoins, pointing out that "we need it, there isn't one now."
