James Howells has been hunting for a hard drive containing private keys to 8,000 BTC (~$660M) in a Newport landfill since 2013.

After yet another rejection — this time by the UK Court of Appeal, which called his case “no realistic chance of success” — Howells now plans to take his fight to the European Court of Human Rights, claiming a violation of his right to property and a fair trial.
