MANTRA responded to the crash: "The project remains resilient"
The MANTRA team stated that the sharp decline in the price of OM is related to mass liquidations and is not connected to the actions of the project.
However, according to on-chain analytics data, about 25 minutes before the crash, several large wallets—presumably linked to the team or early investors—began actively selling the token on Binance.
Additionally, a sharp increase in the supply of OM was recorded on the blockchain: the total number of tokens has doubled. The MANTRA team has not yet commented on this fact.
Old information about the project has also resurfaced in the network. In 2021, Mantra was accused of hiding connections with online casinos and misleading the community with statements about allegedly supporting FTX.
Binance issued a statement that risk control measures were applied regarding $OM .
CZ stated that he no longer manages the exchange, but believes that neither centralized nor decentralized platforms should filter listings but rather provide access to all tokens.
