According to a filing with the SEC, the company does not wish to discuss a proposal to purchase Bitcoin at the upcoming shareholders' meeting in May.
The SEC agreed that McDonald's was within its rights to avoid discussing the proposal.
As a reminder, Microsoft shareholders voted against such an initiative.
